BFG Tires - A Look Into The Many Options With This Brand Of Tire
Interested in picking up some BFG tires? BFG tires is a well known tire manufacturing company whose name has become synonymous with quality tires. There are many places you can go to in order to find BFG tires for your car, SUV, truck or ATV, but the question is, where is the best place to find some good tires and how much are they going to cost you?
Well, rather than going from shop to shop searching for what you need, I’ve got a few reviews here for you to look at which should simplify things down for you. So if you’re in search of BFG tires, here are a few that you may consider picking up:
1. Extreme Performance Summer - G-Force Sport
If you drive a sport compact sedan or coup and you’re looking to find a set of wheels for the summer that will give you looks as well as performance, this tire is a major contender. It’s not meant to be driven in snow or ice, but in dry conditions, this tire has amazing grip, no need for traction control. There’s no vibration with these, it’s like driving on butter, it has great cornering ability as well.
2. High Performance All-Season – Traction T/A H
These are sporty, durable and well priced high performance all season tires. The H and V speed rated traction T/A radials were made for 4 season traction and responsive handling on all road conditions, dry, wet, snow etc.
These wheels have large tread blocks that give stability on dry conditions and the direction design also allows water to flow through the footprint during wet conditions to prevent hydroplaning and increase traction.
There are also g-Wedge sidewall stabilizers on here to improve steering responsiveness and cornering ability. These tires are like glue on the road, don’t need to slow down for the tight turns with these.
About the only bad thing about them is that they’re not the best for winter. When it comes to performance under wet conditions though, you’ll be hard pressed to find a better tire.
3. Light Truck/SUV Highway All Season - Commercial T/A Traction
Now if you’re not in need of passenger tires, here is a good set of tires to get for your SUV or light truck. These were designed to provide on and off road traction. These have an aggressive symmetric tread to improve handling in poor weather conditions. Wide circumferential grooves provide resistance to hydroplaning and lateral groves and sipes give the tires snow traction.
You’ll have to run these tires at 80 psi though or the drive will not be good and it will have horrible wear. These are great tires in the mud as well as off road conditions and have low noise in relation to their traction.
Now there are many other BFG tires to consider picking up, and although the above tires are good, my suggestion to you is to do more searching online for additional BFG tires as I’ve only gone over a small number of them.
